A day in Peraia

I am truly in awe of the way The Lord has blessed all of us on this trip. I have never seen people who have only met once work together so naturally. We have really grown to love each other so much. Today we had the most fun day with the team. It's like we have known each other for awhile. We are already planning a team trip to Kingsburg in August just to hang out.

Breakfast, sitting, looking out at the Mediterranean Sea was beautiful. Gyros for lunch at Tasos were the best we have had so far and we have had many.

At breakfast we all picked names and had to buy something for that person and share at dinner how they were encouraged by them this past week. Throughout the day we all searched for the things we wanted to buy and all of us ended up at the one good souvenir shop in town at different times during the day.

After lunch we all decided to play on a water obstacle course kinda like on the show Wipe Out. There were many competitions mainly between the boys.

Jeff and I had the responsibility of finding a restaurant for dinner for 17 people. We ended up at a place on the water again. We sat with one of the guys to figure out if he could feed us all. This place was great... we were treated like kings and queens. Come to find out the owners are Albanian! Best restaurant in Peraia!

As we went around the table during dinner each person talked about the other person and how they have been encouraged by their service this week. It was such a fun way to lift each other up. There were some practical gifts, some funny gifts and there were some gifts you will never see again or at least we hope not. ;)

My poor girl is still sick and still hanging with the rest of us. She is a trooper!

The rest of the team leves at 2:45 am for home. We will miss them. It won't be nearly as loud and crazy without them. :)
