Birthday Beach Day/Hours!

Saturday was a day at the beach, or should I say hours, so Jake and his friend Westin could go surfing for Jake's birthday. The day started off with a bang! Kailee had spent the night at a friends house and at 8 am our phone rang letting us know Kailee had thrown up at 3 am in the morning and wasn't feeling good. We picked her up and she seemed to feel good one minute and the next minute her tummy hurt, I think she really wanted to go to the beach, so she was trying really hard to be ok. We finally ended up taking her with us. 

We met up with my friend, Jodi. My brother, Kevin and my niece Isabella came too. After picking up surfboards and wetsuits for the boys it was time to park. As we got closer to the beach we noticed there was a marathon or triathlon or something having to do with running going on right on the beach, so as you can imagine there was no parking where you wanted it to be. We finally found some spots and the boys grabbed the suits and boards and went straight to the water and they were in the water one minute and out 10 minutes later. It was cold and windy to say the least. Once we laid the blankets down Kailee slept the whole time while Isabella played in the sand. The rest of us sat around and talked and laughed... a lot thanks to my brother who is always the life of the party! 

We laughed and argued about my brothers hair being blonde or brown. In his words, "It's on my birth certificate and my drivers license... it's BLONDE! Call mom! That's it I'm calling mom!" HAHAHAHA 

We tried to get the boys to get back on the surfboards just so I could get a picture but they were not having it. So they stood next to the surfboards. I have no proof they actually used the them! ;)

Oh I forgot to mention, a couple minutes after getting settled, Kevin sat in tar, I thought I was going to start crying from laughing so hard. We were taking a picture of it to show him what it looks like and this is what I got. Hahahahahaha

Let's just say we arrived at 1 pm and after a couple hours someone asked what time it was, thinking it was probably time for dinner... Nope! it was 3:30 pm! It felt like we had been there forever after all that we had done just to get to the sand. We all started laughing but decided if the boys weren't surfing then it was time to go. We ended the day with "chinese food" from Panda! ;) Just another Price Family Adventure!!!!!
